Installed the module without any issues in my 2008 Audi A4 with RNSE. Tried to recode using VCDS (full version) and I get 4 fields in the instrument coding.
Software
Workshop
Importer
Equipment
The FIS install manual only shows the first 3. The coding listed in the manual is 16044 for software and 00000 for workshop. When I try to recode using these values, VCDS gives me a prompt that states the software coding must be 7 digits.
Any help on this would be much appreciated. Also do I need to go through the adaption process? I only have 2 wires from the FIS to the cluster. Thanks.
