How to adjust the error value of the GPS?
Sorry, could you be more specific? Which GPS are you talking about?
My FIS control has a deviation from the actual GPS. How can I adjust this?
The FIS-Control has no own GPS, just an input for an external GPS receiver.
Have you attached a GPS receiver to the FIS-Control?
Could you please send a picture of the GPS reading of the FIS-Control?

My FIS-Control doesn’t have GPS connected to it. However, the displayed speed on it is slightly lower than that on my GPS. Is there a way to correct this issue?
Ah ok, now I understand. Sorry, no, there is no way to adjust it.
Got it

How do I set it to display only KM/H.
Is this a picture of your cluster instrument? Then you can not use the "Big speed" feature. It will have display errors.

How to connect GPS to FIS-Control?
Hi, you can connect a GPS mouse with RS-232 interface to the D-Sub 9 connector of the FIS-Control.
Pin 3 on FIS-Control receives data, Pin 5 is GND.

Sorry, I don't quite understand. Do you have a picture or instructional video?
I am talking about the D-Sub 9 connector of the FIS-Control. See picture.
You have to buy a GPS mouse with RS-232 interface. It will have a similar connector. You will have to connect the transmitting pin (TX) of the GPS mouse (normally pin 2) to the pin 3 of the FIS-Control. And also you should connect GND. That is pin 5.

Do I need to configure anything separately after connecting a GPS with an RS232 connector?
Yes, in the settings menu you can configure the baud rate for the GPS mouse. This value has to match the communication speed of the GPS mouse. A typical speed is "4800 baud", but it depends on your GPS receiver.

Got it. I'll give it another try.

Hello, I have installed the GPS as per your instructions, but the speed on BIG SPEED is still slower than other GPS systems. Do I need to change any settings?
The speed value for "BIG SPEED" is taken from the CAN bus of the vehicle.
If you want to see the GPS speed, you should find it in "Group 3" of the "External sensors".
So first go to SETTINGS -> CONTROL UNIT and set EXTERNAL SENSORS.
Then go to the main menu and select MEASUREMENT.
Now browse to group 3. You should see the Speed in the third row there.
By the way, which GPS receiver did you get?

I got a RS232 GPS
Did you see that the default baudrate of that GS receiver is 9600 bps?
You have to set that value in the FIS-Control settings at SETTINGS -> GPS MOUSE
And please also note, that the FIS-Control does not power the GPS receiver. You have to provide your own power supply.
