Topic: A3 8P problem

Hi,

I installed FIS-C to my 2005 A3 and it was plug and play install with the instrument cluster. How ever the FIS-C does not seem to connect to ECU at all. All I get is: Communication with control module failed with everything. Not even the ECU information is shown. Is it some settings problem?

No problems when connecting with VCDS.

Hi, normally this is just a configuration issue.

At the very bottom you will find some instructions to fix the problem.

It was a configuration issue, now it works. Though it took a while to understand what those instructions actually mean.
