The speed value for "BIG SPEED" is taken from the CAN bus of the vehicle.
If you want to see the GPS speed, you should find it in "Group 3" of the "External sensors".

So first go to SETTINGS -> CONTROL UNIT and set EXTERNAL SENSORS.
Then go to the main menu and select MEASUREMENT.
Now browse to group 3. You should see the Speed in the third row there.

By the way, which GPS receiver did you get?

Ah sorry, that was a typo. I meant the RS4 B7.
Yes, the BIG SPEED is working with the RS4 B7 cluster.

Yes, it is working with the RS4 B5 cluster instrument.

Yes, in the settings menu you can configure the baud rate for the GPS mouse. This value has to match the communication speed of the GPS mouse. A typical speed is "4800 baud", but it depends on your GPS receiver.

I am talking about the D-Sub 9 connector of the FIS-Control. See picture.
You have to buy a GPS mouse with RS-232 interface. It will have a similar connector. You will have to connect the transmitting pin (TX) of the GPS mouse (normally pin 2) to the pin 3 of the FIS-Control. And also you should connect GND. That is pin 5.

Hi, you can connect a GPS mouse with RS-232 interface to the D-Sub 9 connector of the FIS-Control.
Pin 3 on FIS-Control receives data, Pin 5 is GND.

Hi,

Is this a picture of your cluster instrument? Then you can not use the "Big speed" feature. It will have display errors.

Hi,

Ah ok, now I understand. Sorry, no, there is no way to adjust it.

The FIS-Control has no own GPS, just an input for an external GPS receiver.
Have you attached a GPS receiver to the FIS-Control?

Could you please send a picture of the GPS reading of the FIS-Control?

Sorry, could you be more specific? Which GPS are you talking about?

I guess this information can not be read via Diagnostics from any control unit? In that case, no, it is not possible.

Hi,

No, the FIS-Control has no upper limit. But if you read boost from the engine control unit, it might be limited by the diagnostics protocol. E.g. the highest value for the MAP sensor is 2601 mbar. So that is abozt 1.6 Bar of actual boost.

The FIS-Control can show whatever the sensor is able to measure.

No, the stock MAP sensor does not measure negative pressure. If you attach another boost sensor to the FIS-Control, that measures vacuum, the FIS-Control will show it of course.

Technisch machbar, klar.

To upload logos, go to SETTINGS -> FLASH MEMORY -> LOAD LOGO -> BLUETOOTH.
Now start the Android app and click on "Upload file to FIS-Control.
As you have the color display with the low resolution, only very few of the logos will look ok in your car. As far as I can remember, only the "quattro" Logos are prepared for low resolution:
https://fis-control.de/startlogos/

FIS-Control does not automatically clear fault codes, but you can do it manually. When you show the DTCs, do a longpress and then click the up key. You will come to a menu that allows to clear the codes.

Yes, there will be interference on K-Line and CAN bus if you read data with FIS-Control and other diag tools at the same time.
If you want to use OBDeleven or other diag tools, make sure, that the FIS-Control does not have a running measurement. For example, just leave the FIS-Control menu with EXIT. In that state the FIS-Control does not send data to the K-Line or CAN bus and you can use OBDeleven.

No, it is only about the graphic errors.
There is no way to fix it. The graphic errors are generated by the Display, not by the FIS-Control.
